I’m looking forward to the Cahoots retreat this weekend!

Steam on Queen – June 22, 2013

Here it is! Some photos from the aerial silks act I did on June 22, 2013 at the Steam on Queen Festival.  It was a blast 🙂

A very rewarding experience indeed.  I would love to perform more on the silks and rope.

Lullaby for the Abandoned

Lullaby for the Abandoned

(A Staged Reading)
written by Rain Chan

An eighty-eight-year-old Chinese woman spent the past forty years picking up abandoned babies from the street. She is now lying in the hospital with kidney failure. While her children recall memories of their lives together, the Nurse who looks after the old woman develops a great appreciation for her strength.

‘Thus our task is to make a new kind of artist, a creator capable of understanding every kind of need: not because he is a prodigy, but because he knows how to approach human needs according to a precise method. We wish to make him conscious of his creative power, not scared of new facts, and independent of formulas in his own work.’ – Bruno Munari

CRASHApril 27th…

“Can’t remember isn’t the same as forget. Forget is, don’t want to remember. Can’t remember is, don’t want to forget” Crash is the fractured unravelling of memory. If we can’t remember there is no justice. If we remember with perfect clarity, it won’t bring back the one we’ve lost.
